Jackery, the world-leading innovator in portable power and green outdoor energy solutions, has launched the Explorer 2000 Plus, the first solar generator of its new series.
The new 2000 Plus power station has a total output of 3000 watts and comes with a capacity of 2042 watt-hours, which can be expanded in increments of 2 kWh each to 12 kilowatt hours with up to five battery packs. It has already been awarded the SEAL Sustainable Product Award for 2023.
This summer holiday season is a prime time for DIY projects and home improvements, often requiring power on-site. The Jackery 2000 Plus is the perfect solution, with eight connections – three Schuko sockets (230 volts), two USB-A (Quick Charge 3.0, 18 W), two USB-C (100 W) and a 12-volt socket – providing enough energy for electrical devices such as drills, grinders and saws.
The power station can be charged in the car via a 12-volt plug, in 1.7 hours via a 230-volt connection, or with six Jackery SolarSaga 200W solar modules in just two hours. Users can control the entire system via the Jackery app, connected via Bluetooth or WiFi.
An intelligent battery management system ensures safety and extends the life of the batteries by up to 50 percent, with 4,000 complete charge and discharge cycles (to 70 percent) offering a service life of over 10 years with daily use.
The mobile power solution is also incredibly versatile, with an aluminium pull-out handle and two tyres for easy movement. It also comes with a five-year warranty.
Nicola Cutler, Senior PR UK/EU, said: “This new model is perfect for DIY and renovation heroes looking for both sustainability and convenience. We’re incredibly proud of the Explorer 2000 Plus, and are confident it will help make projects run smoother and more efficiently.”
The Jackery 2000 Plus is available as a standalone power station, as a solar generator with panel, and as discounted sets with battery packs from uk.jackery.com, Amazon.co.uk and specialty retailers. The RRP is £1,999 for the Explorer 2000 Plus, £1,399 for a battery pack and £2,599 as a solar generator with the power station plus SolarSaga 200W module.
Jackery has recently been awarded carbon footprint verification from TÜV SÜD, and is also proud to support global charity WWF and is also in an official partnership with the IRC, International Rescue Committee, helping those affected by disaster across the globe in their time of need. To date, the carbon emissions reduced by the accumulative globally sold solar panels equals planting 2.46 million trees.
Today marks the launch of the Jackery 2000 Plus, the perfect solution for mobile, green power for DIY and renovation heroes.
