On August 17th, the C-Tribe x Tech Festival & Conference will return to Edmonton, Canada, backed by a range of partners including RBC, Ciroc, Edmonton Regional Innovation Network, Innovate Calgary and Edmonton Unlimited. This hybrid, in-person and virtual event aims to celebrate diversity and provide equitable opportunities in creative and entrepreneurial industries.
At the forefront of the festival is the C-Black x Tech Pitch Competition, which offers a range of prizes totalling $7k to emerging innovators. C-Tribe Founder, Sahr Saffa, comments: “The work we’re doing is more important now than ever, and we live in an era where we have to put our money where our mouth is. As we approach year six of the C-Tribe Festival, we continue to build a legacy of supporting and empowering historically underrepresented communities.”
C-Tribe is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing underestimated economies by celebrating diversity and helping more innovative and creative people achieve their dreams. The programming aims to create a sonic space that supports innovation across various verticals, including tech, music, culture, fashion and gaming.
The 5-day event will feature main stage talks, creative showcases and live performances. We hope the C-Tribe x Tech Festival & Conference will be a catalyst for collisions and change within the underestimated creative and entrepreneurial communities.”
