Bureau Veritas Nexta, a global engineering and consulting company, has extended its collaboration with CorrosionRADAR, a supplier of predictive corrosion monitoring and management solutions, to Europe.
This new collaboration will enable an integrated monitoring solution to be offered for Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) which will bridge the gap between quantitative and qualitative risk management, creating optimised inspection programs.
Through the execution of a risk assessment at a customer’s plant in Puglia, Bureau Veritas Nexta identified an asset that would benefit from the implementation of CorrosionRADAR’s monitoring system. This system enhances the data acquisition and monitoring process, resulting in safer operations and providing greater reliability.
The collaboration between Bureau Veritas Nexta and CorrosionRADAR is expected to reduce direct and indirect costs associated with CUI management up to 52%. CorrosionRADAR’s CUI monitoring solution, in combination with wireless, battery-powered tools, simplifies deployments at a large scale.
